One of the two youths, who fled after attacking senior lawyer Prashant Bhushan, and his accomplice, were today arrested.

Two men of right-wing Hindu extremist group Sri Ram Sena yesterday barged into Mr Bhushan’s chamber in the apex court and attacked him over his remarks on Jammu and Kashmir.

While one of the accused, president of Delhi unit of Sri Ram Sena Inder Verma, was arrested immediately, the other one managed to escape.

Another member of the group, who was standing outside the chamber when his two aides were beating up Mr Bhushan, also fled with him.

“The other two accused were arrested this morning,” a police official said.

They were apprehended from Baba Kharak Singh Marg.

All three accused will be produced in court this afternoon.
