The Supreme Court Tuesday directed the transfer of records of the Bofors pay-off matter to a trial court hearing a plea opposing the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) move to withdraw the two-decade-old case against Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi.
The trial court Saturday deferred till Aug 25 the pronouncement of its order on the plea by an advocate opposing CBI’s move to withdraw the case against 70-year-old Quattrocchi.
