Himachal Pradesh High Court has issued a notice to the State Government to file its reply within six weeks on a petition filed by Union Steel Minister and former CM Virbhadra Singh seeking quashing of the FIR in the controversial CD case against him and his wife.
Justice Kuldeep Singh ordered that in the meantime the State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau shall not file the challan in the CD case without the Court’s permission.
The petitioner alleged that the case had no admissible evidences. The State government, the Director-General of Police, former SSB chairman S.M. Katwal and the Central Forensic Science Laboratory are arrayed as parties in the case
