A local court today convicted a man in connection with a four-year-old murder case in Parsudih, on the outskirts of the steel city, in East Singhbum district.
Additional District Judge II, N K Sinha convicted Prasant Hembram for the murder of one Shyam Murmu under section 302 IPC.
The quantum of sentence will be announced on June 26.
As per the FIR lodged under Parsudih police station, Murmu was killed by Hembram over his affairs with a girl in May 2011.
