THE WILD LIFE (STOCK DECLARATION) CENTRAL RULES, 1973(1)In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 63 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:<\/p>\n
1. Short title and commencement – (1) These rules may be called the Wild Life (Stock Declaration) Central Rules, 1973.<\/p>\n
(2) They shall come into force in the State of Madhya Pradesh on the 25th January, 1973, and in other States(2)<\/p>\n
and Union Territories on such date as the Central Government may, by notification appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different States and Union Territories.<\/p>\n
2. Declaration by manufacturer of, dealer or taxidermist in, animal article, etc – Every manufacturer of, or dealer in, animal article or every dealer in captive animals, trophies, or uncured trophies, or every taxidermist shall, within fifteen days from the commencement of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972, declare his stock of animal articles, captive animals, trophies, and uncured trophies, as the case may be, as on the date of such declaration to the Chief Wild Life Warden in the form given below:<\/p>\n
