BE it enacted by Parliament in the Forty-seventh Year of the
\nRepublic of India as follows:-An Act further to amend the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and
\nPrevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1996<\/p>\n
1. Short title.<\/p>\n
This Act may be called the Conservation of
\nForeign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities (Amendment)
\nAct, 1996.2.Amendment of section 9 of Act 52 of 1974.2.Amendment of section 9 of Act 52 of 1974. In the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974, in section 9, in sub-section (1), for the figures, letters and words
\n“31st day of July, 1996”, the figures, letters and words “31st day of
\nJuly, 1999” shall be substituted.<\/p>\n
