Department of Information and Public Relation Arunachal Pradesh
The Information and Public Relations Department was established as Publicity Department during North East Frontier Agency (NEFA) Days at Shillong in 1963 and Shri T.P. Khound was the Publicity Officer to head the wing. The main objective was to disseminate information and educate the people about various Plan, Policies and Programme of the Government through different media tools. It also meant to monitor public opinion appearing in the media and provide necessary feedback service to the government.
