The Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission was established on 2nd January, 2000 under the ERC Act, 1998. Consequent upon coming into existence of the Electricity Act, 2003 w.e.f. 10.6.2003, the Commission is poised to play a more effective role in the development of energy sector.
