J. Issac, as the Principal. The college is affiliated to the University of Kerala and approved by the Central Council of Homoeopathy under the Department of AYUSH of Government of India. The College is owned by the Government of Kerala. The Five and a half years BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery) degree course was started on the same year. Fifty students are admitted every year for the course. The selection of students for admission is from the common medical entrance test conducted by the Government of Kerala.\u00a0 The BHMS graded degree course was started on 1991 for a period of three years. The three year Post Graduate course (MD (Hom)) in two subjects (Homoeopathic Philosophy and Materia Medica) were started in 1995. In 1996 another PG course in Repertory was added. In the year 2004, Post Graduate courses were started in the subject of Practice of Medicine and Homoeopathic Pharmacy. Six students are admitted to each speciality through the Homoeopathy post graduate entrance test conducted by the Government of Kerala.
