Law department formerly known as University Law College is committed to play an important role in the legal system of this university. Law graduates from the department are serving all over the country in the lower courts, High Courts and Supreme Court. The faculty of the department consists of 9 professors, 6 associate professors,7 assistant professors, 8 part-time teachers and many research scholars working on various research programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Placements at Department of Laws:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #666699;\">The placement-cum-counseling cell of this department has been established only in the new millennium for a great cause to serve. The main objective of the cell is to emphasize through a variety of programmes the learning of skills in the legal education curriculum. The cell endeavors to produce lawyers with sense of social responsibility who can face new challenges posed to the legal profession from time to time.
