\nThe KCL Institute of Law is a unit of KCL Education Charitable Trust, a non proft organisaion which is already running many educational institutions.The sapling of Khalsa College Lyallpur Charitable Trust was first laid down in 1960. It has now bloomed into a chain of full fledged, independent Colleges, affiliated to the G.N.D.U. upto Post Graduate standard. Since then, it has been marching onwards with steady and quick strides, not only keeping pace with its other counterparts but has also touched the pinnacle of glory in many other fields which is a matter of great pride for this young institution. The Managing Committee of the trust consists of zealous educationists who, realising the importance of education, take every care to create such opportunities which may enable the institution to serve the cause of education in the most befitting manner.<\/p>\n
KCL Institute of Law, a dream project of Late Sr. Balbir Singh, was founded in the year 2005. KCL Institute of Laws is a unit of KCL Education Charitable Trust a non \u2013profit organisation, which is already running many educational institutions. The college is affiliated to the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and approved by the Bar Council of India. Law is the pillor of the society and should become an essential medium of social change and engineering. As ignorance of Law is no excuse, so everyone must possess knowledge of law. The legal education can also play pivotal role in structuring strong social environment in the country by imbibing productive and corrective traits at the formative years of human personality. For cherishing this objective, KCL Institute of Laws was started for spreading legal education & for developing the personality of the students by channelising their energies & sharpening their intellect.<\/p>\n
Our college is a centre of excellence in legal education and will bring a three dimensional personality development of the student with the help of well qualified,experienced and dedicated faculty which has the expertise of the latest Clinical aching Methodology in legal education.The college prepares its students to be able to stand out in the new emerging world of cut throat competition. The college encourages its students by making them aware about the various scholarships. In this session our three students achieved yearly scholarships from Nishkam Sikh Welfare Society of New Delhi by competing with numbers of students.<\/p>\n

The Trust aims at building not only a palatial building but also building human minds. The Trust is enthusiastic to rise to the need of the times, creating such minds by means of education as can fight the undesirable forces of the day The focus of the institution is to give education to students in a way that they could compete with confidence in Legal profession, corporate sector, Judicial or civil services exams. We make them self sufficient and job oriented inculcating in them the positive concept of awareness and ability.<\/p>\n
Dynamic results of the students till now are the proof of our commitment to give the best education to students.
