The name of Sri Satyendra Kumar Tripathi, Advocate, has been wrongly
shown as counsel for the appellants, because his name (S.K. Tripathi) is
already shown as counsel for the respondent.

The office report dated 13.11.2009 shows that the appellant Pratap Singh has
died. Therefore, the appeal stands abated against the appellant No. 2 Pratap
Singh, due to his death.

Notices were issued to the appellants to engage another counsel in place of Sri
G.P. Mathur, who had elevated to the Bench and also was alevated to the
Hon’ble Apex Court. Notices have been served on the appellants Chhotaku
Singh and Bharat Singh, but they have not engaged any other counsel.

Dr. Abida Syed, Advocate, who is present in the Court, is appointed amicus
curiae for the appellants.

List in the week commencing 22.02.2010 for final hearing.
