Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.G.A for the State and
perused the record.

Under challenge is the FIR relating to case crime No.296 of 2006, under
section 380/413 IPC, Police Station-Gomti Nagar , district-Lucknow.
At this stage, the learned counsel for petitioner does not press the petition
for quashing of the charge sheet. He simply prayed for a direction to the
learned Magistrate for considering the bail application and disposal of the
same expeditiously.

Considering the facts it is directed that in case,petitioner appears before the
court concerned,within 15 days from today and applies for bail, the same shall
be heard and disposed of by the courts below in view of the law laid down in
the case of Smt. Amrawati and another Vs. State of U.P., reported in
2005 Cr.L.J,755.

During this period , no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.
