07/ 14.09.2011 Supplementary affidavit has been filed on 9th August, 2011
stating therein, vide paragraph 5, 6 & 7, that an amount of Rs.14,996/
+ Rs.68,893/ totaling to Rs.83,889/ has been paid relating to letter
Nos. 123 and 124 dated 3rd April, 2010.
The assertion in paragraph 6 & 7 is that Rs.3,83,015/ is yet
to be paid to the petitioner. Since the amount which has been paid at the
belated stage, statutory interest is also liable to be paid.
In the circumstances, the respondent is allowed two weeks’
time to file reply to this supplementary affidavit and ensure that the
amount, which has not been paid till date, shall be paid by the next date
fixed with statutory interest on the total amount.
List this writ petition on 17th October, 2011.
