: Anticipatory bail application filed by petitioner Kumar
Sanjeev Srivastava @ Mani Kumar Sinha in connection with Garhwa
P.S. Case No. 179 of 2010 ( G.R. No. 678 of 2010) pending in the court
of C.J.M., Garhwa is moved by Sri. Devesh Krishna and opposed by Sri.
M.B. Lal, learned Additional P.P.
It is alleged in the complaint petition that petitioner had
taken Rs. 38,790/- for depositing premium of LIC from 12.2.2003 to
15.7.2007. Petitioner annexed statement of LIC ( Annexure-2), which
reveals that only up to 2005 Rs. 14,193.90/- has been deposited. This
shows that petitioner had defalcated rest of the amount.
Considering the same, I am not inclined to enlarge the
petitioner on bail. Hence,the prayer for anticipatory bail of the
petitioner, above named, is rejected.
