ORDER
Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.13.9.10 with the PIO, DRM Office, North Eastern Railway,
Lucknow seeking the photocopies of diary register for the date 1/2/2.10 and 8.2.10. The PIO replied
on 20.10.10 enclosing the point wise information dt.14.10.10 furnished by the concerned Nodal
Officer along with copies of the daily register. Not satisfied with the reply, the Applicant filed an
appeal dt.26.10.10 with the Appellate Authority and on not receiving any reply from the AA he filed a
second appeal dt.29.11.10 before CIC stating that the information is misleading.
Decision
2. It is evident from the Appellant’s own admission in his first appeal that the information has been
received by him, as was available with the Public Authority. There is no information which needs to
be disclosed since the Appellant has not identified what further information he is seeking besides
stating that information provided is misleading.
3. The appeal is rejected and the case closed at the Commission’s end.
