ORDER
Background
1. The Applicant filed his RTIapplication dated 19.01.2011 with the PIO, East Central Railway, Hajipur
seeking certain information (such as detail of PF Account, monthly deduction from salary, details of
additional deduction etc.) with respect to his Provident Fund Account, opened under NPS. The PIO,
on 24.02.2011, gave pointwise information to the Applicant. The Applicant, however, being
dissatisfied with the PIO’s reply, filed his 1stappeal with the Appellate Authority (AA) on 29.03.2011
which apparently was not decided by the AA. The Appellant then filed the present appeal before the
Commission on 23.06.2011 expressing his dissatisfaction towards the information supplied to him.
Decision
2. During the hearing, the Respondents informed the Commission that the Appellate Authority, vide his
communication dated 23.06.2011, has provided to the Appellant the additional
information/clarification (dated 14.06.2011) corresponding to his RTIapplication.
3. It is noted that after the above response from the AA, the Appellant has not filed any complaint before
the Commission about the quality of information he has received from the AA. It is, therefore,
assumed that the Appellant has now received the complete information corresponding to his RTI
application.
5. In view of the above, this appeal is directed to be closed.
