No one is present in spite of repeated call on behalf of the petitioner to press
this writ petition. There is neither any request for adjournment of the matter.
The learned Standing Counsel is present for the opposite parties.
The matter relates to the year 1994.
The learned Standing Counsel on the basis of the counter affidavit submits
that the writ petition was filed challenging the order of reversion dated
13.9.1993. It is submitted that the petitioner was promoted as stop gap
arrangement for a period of three months or till regularly selected person is
made available on the post of Junior Engineer (Minor Irrigation). He was
reverted back on the substantive post as regularly selected candidate was
made available on the post of Junior Engineer (Minor Irrigation).
From the record it appears that no interim order was granted by this Court.
During the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner has lost his interest to
pursue the writ petition.
In view of above, the writ petition is dismissed. However, there is no order as
to cost.
Interim order, if any, stands discharged.
