ORDER

The
learned advocate for the petitioners has given suggestions in writing
to the learned Government Pleader.

The
learned Government Pleader has placed on record, ‘five steps’ which
are taken by the Government authorities in furtherance of the
humanitarian approach to the persons who are displaced from their
place of residence. The same are :

“(1) Temporary
stoppage of City Bus Service (VITCOS) has been provided at the
temporary accommodation site at Gokulpura, Sector-14 on 13/12/2010.

(2) To
take care of education of the children residing in the temporary
accommodation site, with the consent of the parents total 151
children have been admitted in the Gokulpura Primary School. So the
issue is taken care of.

(3) The
arrangement of temporary/ transitory fair price shop have been made
and the respective (FPS) holders are directed to deliver the
rationing items to the hutment dwellers twice a week at the
temporary accommodation site.

(4) Food
is being provided to the temporary accommodation site.

(5) Milk
with biscuits is being provided in morning to the children on the
hutment dwellers. Tea is also being provided at the temporary
accommodation site.”

2. The
matter is kept on 20th December 2010 to enable the learned
advocate for the petitioners to take instructions from the
petitioners and the learned Government Pleader to take further
instructions from the Government authorities.
