RAVIKUMAR, J.\n                   --------------------------------------------\n                       W.P.(C) NO. 3549 OF 2010\n                   --------------------------------------------\n                  Dated this the 3rd day of February, 2010\n\n\n                                JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner is working as Staff Nurse Grade I in a Primary Health<\/p>\n<p>Centre under the second respondent. She is an aspirant for promotion to<\/p>\n<p>the post of Head Nurse. The grievance of the petitioner is that ignoring<\/p>\n<p>her legitimate claim for promotion to the post of Head Nurse, the 4th<\/p>\n<p>respondent was promoted and posted as Head Nurse, as per Ext.P3 order<\/p>\n<p>dated 4.7.2009. Raising the grievance against non consideration of her<\/p>\n<p>claim and also the promotion granted to the 4th respondent, the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>has  already   approached      the    second     respondent     through   Ext.P4<\/p>\n<p>representation.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. Grievances against an order of promotion is permissible to be<\/p>\n<p>taken in appeal before the competent authority.                Therefore, Ext.P4<\/p>\n<p>representation filed by the petitioner, raising her grievance against Ext.P3<\/p>\n<p>order, is maintainable. That being so, there is no reason for the second<\/p>\n<p>respondent for not looking into the grievance raised by the petitioner in<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P4, of course, with notice to the 4th respondent. Therefore, there will<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(C) NO. 3549\/2010                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>be a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass orders on<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P4 representation, with notice to the 4th respondent, within a period of<\/p>\n<p>three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.<\/p>\n<p>      The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                 (C.T.
