No. 3479 of 2008\n           -------------------------------------------------\n       Dated this the 16th day of September, 2008\n\n                              ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The short prayer of the petitioner, who faces indictment<\/p>\n<p>in a prosecution for offences punishable, inter alia, under<\/p>\n<p>Sec.468 IPC and against whom a warrant of arrest to procure<\/p>\n<p>his presence has been issued in the case which has already<\/p>\n<p>been transferred to the list of Long Pending Cases, is that the<\/p>\n<p>learned Magistrate may be directed to comply with the<\/p>\n<p>directions in <a href=\"\/doc\/1516775\/\">Alice George v. Deputy Superintendent of<\/p>\n<p>Police<\/a> (2003 (1) KLT 339) and consider his application for bail<\/p>\n<p>on the date of surrender itself.\n<\/p>\n<p>     2.   I am not satisfied that any further directions are<\/p>\n<p>necessary to be issued in each case to the magistracy to<\/p>\n<p>comply with the directions in Alice George. Every court must<\/p>\n<p>do the same. If there be non-compliance, the same may be<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">Crl.M.C. No. 3479 of 2008 -: 2 :-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>complained before this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>     3. With the above observations, this Crl.M.C. is dismissed.<\/p>\n<p>     4. Hand over a copy of this order to the learned counsel for<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                      (R.
