Respondents\n Prayer:\n\tWrit petition came to be numbered by transfer of O.A.No.9871 of 1998 on the file of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying to call for the records on the file of the second respondent in connection with the order passed by him in his Proceedings Memo No.16390\/D5\/97 dated 16.12.97 and quash the same and direct the respondents to appoint the applicant to the post of Junior Assistant with effect from the date of eligibility on the basis of seniority with all monetary and service benefits and with regular periodical increments and other benefits by issuing a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus or any other appropriate Writ. \n\tFor Petitioner\t: Mr.R.Singaravelan  \n\tFor Respondents\t: Mr.B.Vijay, G.A. \n\nORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tThis writ petition is filed  by the petitioner to   call for the records on the file of the second respondent in connection with the order passed by him in his Proceedings Memo No.16390\/D5\/97 dated 16.12.97 and quash the same and direct the respondents to appoint the applicant to the post of Junior Assistant with effect from the date of eligibility on the basis of seniority with all monetary and service benefits and with regular periodical increments and other benefits.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t2.  The original application has been filed in the year 1998 seeking the relief of promotion to the post of Junior Assistant.  Even in the impugned order, it has been stated that as and when the petitioner reaches the seniority, his claim will be considered.  The learned counsel for the petitioner is not able to state as to whether the relief sought for has already been granted.  In such view of the matter, if the grievance of the petitioner has not been considered so far, the respondents shall consider and pass orders on the claim of the petitioner within a reasonable time preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
