SIVAKUMAR <\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=THIRUVANANTHAPURAM\">THIRUVANANTHAPURAM<\/a>):  I would like to invite your kind attention regarding conversion of Parasala Reailway Station into a crossing station. The Parasala station lies in the section of Kanyakumari. This is one of the busiest routes of the Sourthern Railways. The tourist importance of Kanyakumari increases the number of passengers using this route. The train corssing Block railway stations on the south of Parasala is Kuzhithurai and Neyyattinkara in North. There is a distance of approximately 20\/25 kms between these two stations. The trains have to wait at Kuzhithurai or Neyyattinkara for corssing purpose for more than 45 minutes at either of these stations. This causes inordinate delay to train services in this route.
