Respondents\n\n\n\tOriginal Application No.5611 of 1999 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench praying to direct the respondents to include the name of the applicant in the panel for Selection of Assistant Conservator of Forests for the year 1998-99 and consequently to appoint\/promote the applicant as Assistant Conservator of Forests without taking into account the disciplinary  proceedings pending against the applicant pursuant to the charge memos issued to the applicant in Departmental Enquiry Nos.48\/90 and 49\/90 (Rc.B1\/258\/89) dated 21.7.1990 and in charge memo No.8590\/98 P2 dated 11.9.98 issued by Conservator of Forests, Trichy Zone.  Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition. \n\n\tFor petitioner        :  No appearance\n\n\tFor respondents    : Mr.S.Sivashanmugam\n\t\t               Government Advocate.\n\n-----\n\n  O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tOn 11.2.2010, Mr.A.S.Kaizer, the counsel on record for the petitioner informed the court that he has handed over the bundle and gave consent for change of vakkalat.  The matter thereafter directed to be listed on 12.2.2010.  When the matter was called on 12.2.2010, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.  Hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption &#8220;for dismissal&#8221; on 18.2.2010.  Even today also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.  The writ petition is dismissed for non  prosecution.
