NOs. 342 &amp; 360 OF 2006\n              -----------------------------------------\n         Dated this the 17th day of December, 2007.\n\n\n                        J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>Kurian Joseph, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>      These are appeals filed by the State aggrieved by the<\/p>\n<p>fixation of land value by the reference court. Acquisition is for<\/p>\n<p>the purpose of Muvattupuzha Valley Irrigation Project. In these<\/p>\n<p>cases, the reference court has fixed the land value at the rate of<\/p>\n<p>more than 60% over the value fixed by the Land Acquisition<\/p>\n<p>Officer. In similar case, in L.A.A. No. 34\/2003, this Court has<\/p>\n<p>sustained such fixation.
