KURIAKOSE, J.\n                    ----------------------------------\n                   W.P.(C) NO. 27178          of 2004\n                    ----------------------------------\n             Dated this the 29th      day of May , 2008\n\n                              JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      This Writ Petition is remaining defective since October 2004 on<\/p>\n<p>the reason that the petitioners have not remitted process.   It is seen<\/p>\n<p>from the writ petition that the grievance of the petitioners is that<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P2 petition filed by the petitioners under Section 28A of the Land<\/p>\n<p>Acquisition Act    has not been finally disposed of. In all probability,<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P2 would have been disposed of        by the 3rd respondent.   The<\/p>\n<p>learned counsel for the petitioners have no idea regarding the status<\/p>\n<p>of Ext.P2.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.  The learned Government Pleader submits that if Ext.P2 is<\/p>\n<p>even now pending, there will not be any serious objection in directing<\/p>\n<p>the disposal of Ext.P2 within a time        frame.    Under the above<\/p>\n<p>circumstances, I dispose of this writ petition issuing the following<\/p>\n<p>directions;\n<\/p>\n<p>      If Ext.P2 application submitted by the petitioners is even now<\/p>\n<p>pending before the 3rd respondent, the third respondent will issue a<\/p>\n<p>hearing notice regarding the same to the petitioners and dispose of the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC No. 27178\/2004                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>same in accordance with law at the earliest and at any rate within four<\/p>\n<p>months of receiving a copy of this judgment. If Ext.P2 is already<\/p>\n<p>disposed of and the decision is not communicated to the petitioners,<\/p>\n<p>the third respondent will ensure that decision is communicated to the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners within a period of two months of receiving a copy of this<\/p>\n<p>judgment.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                              PIUS C.
