Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :18\/03\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                          ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n                         ===============\n                       W.P.(C) NO. 5602 OF 2008 P\n                    ====================\n\n                Dated this the 18th day of March, 2008\n\n                               J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The petitioner, a PWD contractor, who was awarded the work of<\/p>\n<p>construction of building for I.T.I. at Koyalmannam had raised certain<\/p>\n<p>claims and the prayer now made is that his claims should be placed before<\/p>\n<p>the Government Arbitration Committee. It is seen that his request has<\/p>\n<p>found favour with respondents 2, 3 and 4, who have recommended the<\/p>\n<p>same as per Exts. P9 to P12. It is stated that the question as to whether<\/p>\n<p>the claim should be referred to the Government Arbitration Committee is a<\/p>\n<p>matter to be decided by the 1st respondent before whom it is pending and<\/p>\n<p>that a decision in this behalf is awaited.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.    Having regard to the above, I dispose of this writ petition itself<\/p>\n<p>directing that if the matter is pending before the 1st respondent, the 1st<\/p>\n<p>respondent shall decide as to whether the claims raised by the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>are to be referred to the Government Arbitration Committee pursuant to<\/p>\n<p>WPC 5602\/08<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                     :2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Exts. P9 to P12.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.
