Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>2. The petitioner filed the above writ petition seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the first respondent from disposing the petition in A.O.P. No. 75\/2000 pending on the file of the first respondent without holding enquiry under the Chit Funds Act.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.  The petitioner filed the writ petition only on apprehension that the first respondent will deal with the said O.P. Without holding any enquiry.  When the parties asked for an enquiry, the first respondent is expected to give such opportunity, which is also contemplated under the provisions of the Act.  So, as a Statutory Authority, the first respondent is expected to discharge his duties in accordance with law.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.  In view of the above, the petitioner&#8217;s apprehension cannot be sustained.  It is for the petitioners to request the first respondent to conduct an enquiry and the first respondent is expected to dispose the O.P. only in accordance with law.\n<\/p>\n<p>5.
