JUSTICE ABHILASHA KUMARI\n\t\t\n\t\n\n \n\nDate\n: 08\/02\/2011 \n\n \n\nORAL\nORDER<\/pre>\n<p>\tThis<br \/>\napplication has been filed with a prayer to amend the cause-title of<br \/>\nSpecial Civil Application No.3206 of 2001, by replacing &#8220;the<br \/>\nGujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited&#8221; in place of &#8220;Gujarat<br \/>\nElectricity Board&#8221;.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tI<br \/>\nhave heard Mr.Nilesh A.Pandya, learned advocate for the applicants<br \/>\n(original petitioners) and perused the averments made in the<br \/>\napplication.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tIt<br \/>\nis submitted by the learned advocate for the applicants that the<br \/>\nerstwhile Gujarat Electricity Board<br \/>\nhas now been converted into &#8220;the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam<br \/>\nLimited&#8221; and, therefore, the nomenclature of the Gujarat<br \/>\nElectricity Board is now required to be changed in the petition, as<br \/>\nprayed for.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tIn<br \/>\nview of the fact that the nomenclature of the Gujarat Electricity<br \/>\nBoard has now been changed to the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited,<br \/>\nthe prayers made in the application deserve to be granted.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tAccordingly,<br \/>\nthe application is allowed.
