Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :10\/10\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                   ANTONY DOMINIC, J\n                        -------------------\n                    W.P.(C). 29994\/2007\n                        --------------------\n          Dated this the 10th day of October, 2007\n\n                        JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>           Proceedings         were       initiated against the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner under the Essential commodities Act as a result<\/p>\n<p>of which Ext.P3 show cause notice has been issued.<\/p>\n<p>Allegation is that excess stock of sugar was found in the<\/p>\n<p>shop of the petitioner. In response to Ext.P3, petitioner<\/p>\n<p>has submitted Ext.P4 reply. At that stage, Petitioner has<\/p>\n<p>approached this Court seeking an interim custody of the<\/p>\n<p>stock seized from him.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.   Now     that the proceedings pursuant to Ext.P3<\/p>\n<p>are pending consideration of the third respondent, it is<\/p>\n<p>only appropriate to dispose of this writ petition directing<\/p>\n<p>finalization of the proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>      3.   Accordingly,     writ     petition    is disposed of<\/p>\n<p>directing the third respondent to finalise the proceedings<\/p>\n<p>pursuant to Ext.P3 show cause notice, with notice to the<\/p>\n<p>Petitioner, as expeditiously as possible at any rate within a<\/p>\n<p>period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of<\/p>\n<p>this judgment.\n<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).29994\/2007<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                             2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>     4.
