Details of the work done on sewer and sewer lines from 2008 till August 2010 in Mongolpuri.\n<\/p>\n<p>   2. Details of the work done on water and water lines from 2008 till August 2010 in Mongolpuri.\n<\/p>\n<p>   3. Copy of the work done on sewer and water lines from 2008 till August 2010 in Mongolpuri.\n<\/p>\n<p>   4. Copy of the Bill of Quantity of work done on sewer and water lines from 2008 till August 2010 in<br \/>\n      Mongolpuri.\n<\/p>\n<p>   5. Details of the amount spent on work done on sewer and water lines from 2008 till August 2010 in<br \/>\n      Mongolpuri.\n<\/p>\n<p>Reply of PIO:\n<\/p>\n<p> 2-    The appellant is directed to submit Rs 464\/- for gaining the information.<br \/>\n 3-    The appellant is directed to pay Rs 464\/-in cash or in demand draft or bankers cheque Payable to<br \/>\n       Delhi Jal Board within 15 days of the issue of the letter else the case will be closed without any<br \/>\n       further information.\n<\/p>\n<p>4-     The above price can vary and is tentative and can change.\n<\/p>\n<p>First Appeal:\n<\/p>\n<p>PIO gave no information inspite of the lapse of 30 days.\n<\/p>\n<p>Order of the FAAs Order:\n<\/p>\n<p>As per the hearing on 08-12-2010 in the presence of APIO and the appellant the applicant claims he had<br \/>\nreceived no information However the information in the form of demand letter was sent to the applicant<br \/>\nThe proof of dispatch is available in the records. Thus the appeal is disposed off.<br \/>\n Ground for the Second appeal:\n<\/p>\n<p>Through imposing penalty on the PIO of Rs 250 per day due to lapse of provision of information within<br \/>\ntime and furnish the complete and correct information sought.\n<\/p>\n<p>Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:\n<\/p>\n<p>The following were present<br \/>\nAppellant : Mr. Mukesh representing Mr. Prabhakar;<br \/>\nRespondent : Mr. O. D. Maniwal, Public Information Officer &amp; Superintending Engineer(NW);\n<\/p>\n<p>        The PIO had within 14 days sent an intimation to the Appellant to deposit additional fee of<br \/>\nRs.464\/- by speed post receipt no. ED077288861IN on 28\/09\/2010. The Postal Authorities could not<br \/>\ndeliver it at the address and the Appellant filed the first appeal. The FAA has recorded the fact that the<br \/>\nspeed post could not bee delivered to the Appellant and also given the copy of the demand letter to the<br \/>\nAppellant. The Appellant has refused to pay the amount claiming that since he did not receive the demand<br \/>\nletter within 30 days the information should be provided free of cost. The PIO had clearly sent the letter<br \/>\nasking for additional fee to be paid and it was not received at the address for which the PIO cannot be<br \/>\nresponsible. If the Appellant wants the information he will pay the additional fee of Rs.464\/- before<br \/>\n20 February 2011, in which case the PIO will provide the information within 10 days of the receipt of the<br \/>\namount.\n<\/p>\n<p>Decision:\n<\/p>\n<p>The Appeal is dismissed.\n<\/p>\n<p>This decision is announced in open chamber.<br \/>\nNotice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.<br \/>\nAny information in compliance with this Order will be provided free of cost as per Section 7(6) of RTI Act.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                                                                        Shailesh Gandhi<br \/>\n                                                                                              Information Commissioner<br \/>\n                                                                                                       04 February 2011<br \/>\n(In any correspondence on this decision, mention the complete decision number.)
