The Appellant was further asked to provide the said information to get the<br \/>\nrequisite information.\n<\/p>\n<p>First Appeal:\n<\/p>\n<p>Non-receipt of information from the PIO within the stipulated time.\n<\/p>\n<p>Order of the FAA:\n<\/p>\n<p>The FAA provided the reply to the Appellant during the hearing and suggested the Appellant to approach<br \/>\nhim if the Appellant felt the information to be unsatisfactory.\n<\/p>\n<p>Ground of the Second Appeal:\n<\/p>\n<p>Unfair disposal of Appeal by the FAA.\n<\/p>\n<p> Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:\n<\/p>\n<p>The following were present<br \/>\nAppellant : Mr. Suraj Prakash Manchanda;\n<\/p>\n<p>Respondent : Mr. Gopinath, UDC on behalf of Mr. Pawan Kumar, PIO &amp; Sub-Registrar &#8211; II;\n<\/p>\n<p>       The Appellant has sought information about the registration of the sale of a property. The<br \/>\nRespondent has stated that they do not maintain the list property wise and it would be impossible to locate<br \/>\nfrom the register when the particular property in which the Appellant is interested was registered. The<br \/>\nAppellant thinks that the property for which he wants details may have been registered around the year<br \/>\n2000. The appellant is willing to inspect the register himself to identify the information that he seeks.\n<\/p>\n<p>The Appellant has also suggested that details of property transactions should be made public and put-up<br \/>\non the website. The Commission has been informed by the Respondent that after 2006 all property<br \/>\ntransactions are being maintained on the computers. The Commission directs the Divisional<br \/>\nCommissioner to send his views on the subject of putting the details of property transactions on the<br \/>\nwebsite to the Commission before 25 December 2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>Decision:\n<\/p>\n<p>The Appeal is allowed.\n<\/p>\n<p>       The PIO is directed to facilitate an inspection of the relevant records by the<br \/>\nAppellant on 29th and 30th December 2010 from 10.00AM onwards. The PIO will give<br \/>\nattested photocopies of records which the Appellant wants free of cost upto 10 pages.\n<\/p>\n<p>The Commission also directs Divisional Commissioner to send his views on about putting<br \/>\nproperty transactions on the website as directed above to the Commission before 25<br \/>\nDecember 2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>This decision is announced in open chamber.<br \/>\nNotice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.<br \/>\nAny information in compliance with this Order will be provided free of cost as per Section 7(6) of RTI Act.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                                                                        Shailesh Gandhi<br \/>\n                                                                                              Information Commissioner<br \/>\n                                                                                                      07 December 2010<br \/>\n(In any correspondence on this decision, mention the complete decision number.)
