No.1758 of 2010\n                     -------------------------------\n           Dated this the 28th day of January, 2010\n\n\n                         J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner was appointed as a full time craft teacher in<\/p>\n<p>the Kelalur U.P. School in a retirement vacancy.       The A.E.O,<\/p>\n<p>Thalassery refused to approve the same on the ground that post<\/p>\n<p>was abolished by him on the retirement of the then incumbent<\/p>\n<p>on 31.3.1986.    Later on the Government issued order dated<\/p>\n<p>7.11.2006, approving the said appointment. The said order was<\/p>\n<p>challenged by the Manager before this court. While that writ<\/p>\n<p>petition was pending, the then manager expired. The subsequent<\/p>\n<p>manager withdrew the writ petition and the writ petition was<\/p>\n<p>dismissed.   Thereafter the headmistress claimed salary of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner from the periods 30.10.1986 to 12.10.1989 and from<\/p>\n<p>30.12.2008 onwards. The salary arrears of the petitioner for the<\/p>\n<p>other periods was not claimed by the headmistress.<\/p>\n<p>      In the above circumstances, the petitioner has filed Ext.P4<\/p>\n<p>petition before the first respondent for disbursal of arrears of<\/p>\n<p>salary due to the petitioner. The petitioner seeks a direction to<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(C). No.1758\/2010              2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>the first respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4<\/p>\n<p>expeditiously.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.<\/p>\n<p>       The writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent<\/p>\n<p>to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4           as expeditiously as<\/p>\n<p>possible at any rate within three months from the date of receipt<\/p>\n<p>of copy of this judgment, after affording an opportunity of being<\/p>\n<p>heard to the petitioner as well as the manager.<\/p>\n<p>                                          S.
