RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, JJ.\n             ------------------------------------------\n               Review Petition No. 495 OF 2008\n                               IN\n                  W.P.(C) No. 5459 OF 2007\n              -----------------------------------------\n            Dated this the 5th day of June, 2008.\n\n\n                           O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>P.R.Raman, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>     As per the order dated 15.11.2007, certain directions were<\/p>\n<p>issued by this Court to Chief Secretary to furnish the materials<\/p>\n<p>called for by the Backward Commission within a period of one<\/p>\n<p>month. It was specifically observed in that order that request for<\/p>\n<p>further extension of time would not be entertained. The State<\/p>\n<p>had sought for further extension of time by filing a petition.<\/p>\n<p>Various reasons are stated as to why such extension of time is<\/p>\n<p>required to be given. That request could not be allowed by this<\/p>\n<p>Court because of the above observation that such extension<\/p>\n<p>application would not be entertained. Hence this review.<\/p>\n<p>     2. Heard. In the factual situation, this Court only meant<\/p>\n<p>that requests for further extension of time will not be ordinarily<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">R.P.No.495\/08                      2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>entertained. Hence, we clarify accordingly that there will not be<\/p>\n<p>any impediment in seeking extension of time on sufficient<\/p>\n<p>grounds.\n<\/p>\n<p>       This review petition is disposed of accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>                                   P.R.
