Justice P.N.RAVINDRAN\n\n Dated :20\/10\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                                P.N.Ravindran, J.\n                        =====================\n                         W.P(C).No.30572 of 2008\n                        =====================\n\n               Dated this the 20th day of October, 2008.\n\n                                 JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The petitioner is a candidate included in Ext.1 ranked list for<\/p>\n<p>appointment to the post of Typist in the Kerala State Federation of<\/p>\n<p>Scheduled Castes &amp; Scheduled Tribes Development Co-operatives Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioner contends that though vacancies exist, the first respondent<\/p>\n<p>is not taking steps to report the vacancies to the second respondent and<\/p>\n<p>that unless this Court steps in and issues necessary directions, the first<\/p>\n<p>respondent will not report the existing vacancies of Typist before Ext.P1<\/p>\n<p>ranked list expires on 27.10.2008.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2. Sri.T.A.Shaji, the learned standing counsel appearing for the<\/p>\n<p>first respondent submits on instructions that there was only one vacant<\/p>\n<p>post of Typist in the office of the Federation, that after Ext.P1 ranked list<\/p>\n<p>was published the said vacancy was filled up by advising and appointing<\/p>\n<p>one among the candidates named therein and that no further vacancy of<\/p>\n<p>Typist exists against which the candidates included in Ext.P1 ranked list<\/p>\n<p>can be advised. Apart from merely alleging that the first respondent<\/p>\n<p>Federation has not correctly assessed the vacancies, no material has<\/p>\n<p>been produced before this Court to indicate that vacancies of Typists<\/p>\n<p>exist and are available to be reported to the Kerala Public Service<\/p>\n<p>Commission. In this state of affairs, no relief can be granted to the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WP(C) 30572                         -: 2 :-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>petitioner.
