RAMKUMAR, J.\n                = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n                 W.P.(c).No.16975 of 2010\n                = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n            Dated this the 21st day of July, 2010\n\n                         JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     In this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the<\/p>\n<p>Constitution of India, the petitioner who is the accused in<\/p>\n<p>Crime No.400\/2010 of Kizhakkekallada Police Station<\/p>\n<p>registered   for   offences   punishable    under    Sections<\/p>\n<p>395,332,353,308 and 294(b) and 3(1) of the Prevention of<\/p>\n<p>Destruction of Public Properties Act, 1984, seeks a direction<\/p>\n<p>to entrust the investigation of the said case with a superior<\/p>\n<p>officer not below the rank of a Dy.S.P.<\/p>\n<p>     2.   4th respondent, Sub Inspector of Police, East<\/p>\n<p>Kallada Police Station has filed a statement after traversing<\/p>\n<p>the averments in the writ petition. I am not going into the<\/p>\n<p>allegations and counter allegations      in the light of the<\/p>\n<p>admission in the said statement to the effect that on<\/p>\n<p>27.5.2010 the Superintendent of Police, Kollam has ordered<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(c).No.16975 of 2010<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                       2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>investigation of the above crime namely Crime No.400\/2010<\/p>\n<p>as well as another crime namely Crime No.399\/2010 to the<\/p>\n<p>Dy.S.P, DCRB, Kollam.               In the light of the fact that the<\/p>\n<p>investigation of the above two crimes has been entrusted<\/p>\n<p>with an Officer of the rank of a Dy.S.P., the petitioner also<\/p>\n<p>has no subsisting grievance in the matter .                This writ<\/p>\n<p>petition is accordingly closed, recording the above<\/p>\n<p>statement.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nDated this the 21st day of July, 2010.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                               V.
