That order came to be challenged by way<\/p>\n<p>of revision petition before the revisional court. The revisional<\/p>\n<p>court partly allowed the revision petition and order taking<\/p>\n<p>cognizance for the offences under Sections 504 and 500 IPC<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                              2<\/span><br \/>\n                                                        S.B.Cr.Misc.Petition No.985\/2008<\/p>\n<p>     against the petitioners was set aside. However, the order taking<\/p>\n<p>     cognizance for the        offence       under       Section      323    IPC    was<\/p>\n<p>     maintained. It was left open for the petitioners to move before<\/p>\n<p>     the trial court if they claim protection under Section 197 Cr.P.C.<\/p>\n<p>     Aggrieved by that order, the instant petition has been filed.<\/p>\n<p>                  I have heard learned counsel for the parties.<\/p>\n<p>     Carefully gone through the order impugned as also record of<\/p>\n<p>     the trial court.\n<\/p>\n<p>                  The injury report Exhibit-1 shows that the injured-<\/p>\n<p>     complainant Arif Mohammed has suffered as many as seven<\/p>\n<p>     injuries. In his statement, he has specifically stated that such<\/p>\n<p>     injuries   have    been    caused           by    the     petitioner.     In   the<\/p>\n<p>     circumstances,      therefore,     in       my    view,    the    order    taking<\/p>\n<p>     cognizance for the offence under Section 323 IPC cannot be<\/p>\n<p>     said to have been suffering from any error or illegality<\/p>\n<p>     warranting any interference in the inherent jurisdiction of this<\/p>\n<p>     Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>                  In this view of the matter, I do not find any merit in<\/p>\n<p>     this   criminal    misc.petition        and      the    same     is,    therefore,<\/p>\n<p>     dismissed.
