MESSAGE FROM RAJYA SABHA  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>SECRETARY-GENERAL : Sir, I have to report the following message received from the Secretary-General of Rajya Sabha:-  <\/p>\n<p>\u2018I am directed to inform the Lok Sabha that the Rajya Sabha at its sitting held on Monday the 22nd August, 2005 adopted the following Motion in regard to the Committee on Offices of Profit:-\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat this House concurs in the recommendation of the Lok Sabha that the Rajya Sabha do elect one Member of Rajya Sabha to the Joint committee on Offices of Profit in the vacancy caused by the retirement of Shri Eduardo Faleiro from the Rajya Sabha and resolves that the House do proceed to elect, in accordance with the system of proportional representation by means of the single transferable vote, one Member from among the Members of the House to the said Joint Committee to fill the vacancy.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I am further to inform the Lok Sabha that in pursuance of the above Motion, Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz, Member, Rajya Sabha has been duly elected to the said Committee\u2019.\n<\/p>\n<p>_________  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p> 11.02 \u00bd hrs.  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lok Sabha Debates Regarding Election Of Prof. Saif-Ud-Din-Soz Who Has Been Elected To &#8230; on 29 August, 2005 an&gt; Title : Regarding election of Prof. Saif-ud-Din-Soz who has been elected to the Joint Committee on Office of Profit in the vacancy caused by the retirement of Shri Eduardo Faleiro.
