The\u00a0RTI\u00a0application\u00a0was\u00a0filed\u00a0by\u00a0the\u00a0Applicant\u00a0on\u00a02.1.2010\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0PIO,\u00a0Regional\u00a0Passport\u00a0Office,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        Ahmedabad \u00a0 seeking \u00a0 the \u00a0 following \u00a0 information \u00a0 with \u00a0 regard \u00a0 to \u00a0 the \u00a0 passport \u00a0 of \u00a0 his \u00a0 father, \u00a0 Shri\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        Chandubhai\u00a0Haribhai\u00a0Patel.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>        a)   Details\u00a0about\u00a0Passport\u00a0number\u00a0of\u00a0his\u00a0father&#8217;s\u00a0passport<\/p>\n<p>        b)   Details\u00a0of\u00a0Passport\u00a0Issued\u00a0Date\u00a0and\u00a0month\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        c)   Information\u00a0about\u00a0Visa,\u00a0and\u00a0address.<\/p>\n<p>        The\u00a0PIO\u00a0replied\u00a0vide\u00a0his\u00a0letter\u00a0dated\u00a028.1.2010\u00a0stating\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0passport\u00a0details\u00a0cannot\u00a0be\u00a0provided\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        for\u00a0legal\u00a0procedure\u00a0as\u00a0requested.\u00a0Not\u00a0satisfied\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0reply,\u00a0the\u00a0Applicant\u00a0filed\u00a0his\u00a0first\u00a0appeal\u00a0on\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        18.2.2010.\u00a0The\u00a0Joint\u00a0Secretary\u00a0(CPV)\u00a0&amp;\u00a0Appellate\u00a0Authority\u00a0replied\u00a0vide\u00a0letter\u00a0dated\u00a012.4.2010\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        stating\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0information\u00a0sought\u00a0by\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant\u00a0is\u00a0personal\u00a0information\u00a0of\u00a0a\u00a0third\u00a0party\u00a0and\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        disclosure\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0same\u00a0might\u00a0cause\u00a0unwarranted\u00a0invasion\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0privacy\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0third\u00a0party.\u00a0Hence\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        the\u00a0details\u00a0can\u00a0not\u00a0be\u00a0disclosed.\u00a0Still\u00a0not\u00a0satisfied\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0reply,\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant\u00a0filed\u00a0his\u00a0second\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        appeal\u00a0before\u00a0the\u00a0Commission\u00a0on\u00a029.5.2010.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>2.      The \u00a0 Bench \u00a0 of \u00a0 Mrs. \u00a0 Annapurna \u00a0 Dixit, \u00a0 Information \u00a0 Commissioner, \u00a0 scheduled \u00a0 the \u00a0 hearing \u00a0 for\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        September\u00a022,\u00a02010.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>3.      Shri \u00a0 M.D. \u00a0 Altani, \u00a0 RPO \u00a0 &amp; \u00a0 PIO\u00a0 represented\u00a0 the \u00a0 Public \u00a0 Authority \u00a0 and \u00a0 was\u00a0 heard \u00a0 through \u00a0 video\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>        conferencing.\n<\/p>\n<p> 4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0       The\u00a0Applicant\u00a0was\u00a0present\u00a0during\u00a0the\u00a0hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Decision<\/p>\n<p>            5.   The\u00a0Appellant\u00a0stated\u00a0that\u00a0he\u00a0is\u00a0seeking\u00a0\u00a0information\u00a0about\u00a0his\u00a0father\u00a0who\u00a0had\u00a0left\u00a0him\u00a0before\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>            he\u00a0was\u00a0born.\u00a0The\u00a0only\u00a0information\u00a0he\u00a0had\u00a0about\u00a0his\u00a0father\u00a0is\u00a0the\u00a0address\u00a0in\u00a0UAE\u00a0as\u00a0given\u00a0in\u00a0a\u00a0letter\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>            sent\u00a0by\u00a0him\u00a0to\u00a0his\u00a0mother\u00a0before\u00a0he\u00a0was\u00a0born..\u00a0The\u00a0Appellant\u00a0stated\u00a0that\u00a0he\u00a0wants\u00a0the\u00a0information\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>            in\u00a0order\u00a0to\u00a0trace\u00a0the\u00a0whereabouts\u00a0of\u00a0his\u00a0father.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>            6.
