Request of the petitioner for grant of Public Distribution<\/p>\n<p>                     System licence on compassionate ground was recommended to be<\/p>\n<p>                     considered by the licensing authority under letter no.90 dated<\/p>\n<p>                     10.8.2005, Annexure-5, but the same has not yet been considered,<\/p>\n<p>                     meanwhile Fair Price Shop Order, 2007 (hereinafter referred to as the<\/p>\n<p>                     2007 Order) has been notified by the Government. It is submitted in<\/p>\n<p>                     this background that the competent authority in terms of 2007 order be<\/p>\n<p>                     directed to consider the request of the petitioner for grant of PDS<\/p>\n<p>                     licence on compassionate ground.\n<\/p>\n<p>                               3. Let the competent authority constituted under 2007 order<\/p>\n<p>                     consider the request of the petitioner for grant of PDS licence, as early<\/p>\n<p>                     as possible, in any case within three months from the date of<\/p>\n<p>                     receipt\/production of a copy of this order before the licensing<\/p>\n<p>                     authority, who shall forward the order to the District Level Selection<\/p>\n<p>                     Committee for the needful.\n<\/p>\n<p>                               4.
