Respondents\n\n\n\tWrit Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue  a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second  respondent to consider petitioner's  representation   dated 3.3.2011 to include the name of petitioner in the said VSNL Scheme allotment list in accordance with the rates fixed by the Registrar of Societies (Housing) for an eligible member, and allot one plot in the land in S.No.156 and 156\/2 of No.118 Padiyanallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District in favour of the petitioner. \n\n\t\n\tFor petitioner\t\t:  \tMr.P.Mohanraj\n\n\tFor respondents \t\t:  \tMrs.R.Anitha,\n\t\t\t\t\t\tAdditional Government Pleader.\n\n  -----\n\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\t Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second  respondent to consider petitioner&#8217;s  representation   dated 3.3.2011 to include the name of petitioner in the said VSNL Scheme allotment list in accordance with the rates fixed by the Registrar of Societies (Housing) for an eligible member, and allot one plot in the land in S.No.156 and 156\/2 of No.118 Padiyanallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District in favour of the petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.    By consent of both  parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. Petitioner is a retired employee of VSNL and a member of the Co-operative Housing Society.  According to the petitioner, after retirement, his claim for allotment of plot has not been considered by the first respondent Special Officer in spite of repeated request and personal visits.  Petitioner, therefore, made a representation dated 3.3.2011 to the second respondent Registrar of Co-operative Housing Society to direct the first respondent to allot a plot.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4.  This Court on going through the typedset of papers finds that except the statement of affidavit, there is no representation specifically given to the first respondent Special Officer.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to make a detailed representation along with a copy of this order to the first respondent who shall consider and dispose of the same on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of  representation when presented along with a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is ordered as above.
