Justice KURIAN JOSEPH\n\n Dated :06\/04\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n           S.R.Bannurmath, C.J. &amp; Kurian Joseph, J.\n                 ------------------------------------------\n                        W.A No. 780 of 2009\n                 ------------------------------------------\n               Dated, this the 6th day of April, 2009\n\n                            JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>Kurian Joseph, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>           Appellant is the petitioner in the writ petition.         He<\/p>\n<p>aggrieved since his revision before the Commissioner of Land<\/p>\n<p>Revenue was rejected on the ground of limitation.            The issue<\/p>\n<p>pertains to the request made by the petitioner for assignment. We<\/p>\n<p>find that under Rule 21(9) of the Kerala Land assignment Rules,<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner has an effective remedy before the Government.<\/p>\n<p>           2. In the above circumstances, we dispose of the writ<\/p>\n<p>appeal as follows:\n<\/p>\n<p>           The judgment of the learned Single Judge is set aside.<\/p>\n<p>In the event of the appellant\/petitioner approaching the<\/p>\n<p>Government by way of revision within a period of one month from<\/p>\n<p>today, the matter will be considered by the Government on merits<\/p>\n<p>with notice to the appellant\/petitioner and other affected parties<\/p>\n<p>within a period of three months thereafter.        We make it clear that<\/p>\n<p>W.A.
