NO.16226 OF 2010\n                    --------------------------------------------\n\n                    Dated this the 27th day of May, 2010\n\n\n                                 JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The petitioner is a Upper Primary School Assistant working in<\/p>\n<p>M.M.U.P School wherein the third respondent is the manager. She was<\/p>\n<p>appointed as U.P.S.A with effect from 6.6.2002. The said appointment<\/p>\n<p>was approved. Staff fixation for the year 2008-09 was revised as per<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P1 order dated 21.11.2009 based on the report of the super check cell.<\/p>\n<p>In the revised staff fixation, six teachers including the petitioner were<\/p>\n<p>found in excess and they are facing retrenchment. The contention of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is that a consideration of the claim of the petitioner in terms of<\/p>\n<p>G.O.(P) No.175\/99 dated 26.7.92 by applying 1:40 teacher student ratio<\/p>\n<p>would enable her to continue in service. Therefore, pointing the aforesaid<\/p>\n<p>aspects, the petitioner has already submitted Ext.P2 revision petition<\/p>\n<p>before the first respondent. The said revision petition is still pending.<\/p>\n<p>       2.     Considering the fact that the petitioner has already approached<\/p>\n<p>the first respondent, without going into the merits of the contentions raised<\/p>\n<p>by the petitioner, this Writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(C) NO.16226\/2010                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>first respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 revision petition<\/p>\n<p>submitted by the petitioner expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of<\/p>\n<p>two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.<\/p>\n<p>                                (C.T.
