JUSTICE JASBIR SINGH\n\nPresent:     Mr.N.S.Sodhi, Advocate for the petitioner\n\n                          .....\n<\/pre>\n<p>Jasbir Singh, J.(Oral)<\/p>\n<p>             By filing this writ petition, the petitioner prays that directions<\/p>\n<p>be issued to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to take legal action, on his<\/p>\n<p>representation dated 30.6.2009. By making that representation, it has been<\/p>\n<p>prayed by the petitioner that &#8216;non-conviction certificate&#8217; be issued to him.<\/p>\n<p>             It is contention of the petitioner that one FIR was recorded<\/p>\n<p>against Ranjit Singh, brother of the petitioner, however, in a very clever<\/p>\n<p>manner, Ranjit Singh has mentioned his name as Malkit Singh. Taking note<\/p>\n<p>of that fact, petitioner was acquitted of the charges by the competent Court<\/p>\n<p>on 12.6.2002. Copy of that order has not been placed on record. Nothing<\/p>\n<p>was said as to whether copy is available or not. Reference has only been<\/p>\n<p>made to some information supplied by the SSP&#8217;s office, which the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>has got under the provisions of Right to Information Act, 2005, wherein, in<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\"> Civil Writ Petition No.12346 of 2009                                    2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>reply to the application, it is mentioned that case No.212\/85 was disposed<\/p>\n<p>of.
