The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is an accused for an offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.  The present petition has been filed as if the cheques, which are the subject matter of the case, have been stolen from him.  The matter is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Vellore, for enquiry.  <\/p>\n<p>\t3.
