Singh, CPIO and Shri Balbir Singh, APIO.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.     The appellant filed RTI-request dated 13.9.2010, seeking status of his application<br \/>\nfor the post of Peon. The CPIO vide letter No 1-64\/2009\/VCI\/2410 dated 1.1.2010 has<br \/>\nreplied to the appellant stating that the process of filling up of the post of peon is under<br \/>\nway and the intimation shall be sent to the applicants in due course.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.     Aggrieved by the decision of CPIO, the appellant filed first-appeal 21.10.2010<br \/>\nbefore FAA, which was not decided by the FAA.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.     During the hearing the respondents submitted that the appellant has appeared for<br \/>\nwritten examination for the post of Peon on 9.1.2011 and the result is awaited.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                            -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>                                                          Case No. CIC\/SS\/A\/2010\/001190<\/p>\n<p>5.     After hearing the respondents and on perusal of the relevant documents on file,<br \/>\nCommission observed that the requisite information, under the provisions of RTI Act, has<br \/>\nbeen provided to the appellant.
