Respondents\n\n\n\tWrit Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to forthwith handover the vacant possession of the lands in Survey No.242\/9 Pethikuppam village, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Tiruvallur District measuring an extent of 0.08.5 acres within such time and pass such further order as this Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.\n\n\n\tFor Petitioner   \t:      \tMr.P.Srinivas\n\n\tFor Respondents  :\tMr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal,\n\t\t\t\t\tGovernment Advocate.\n\n----- \nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\t Writ Petition is filed   praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to forthwith handover the vacant possession of the lands in Survey No.242\/9 Pethikuppam village, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Tiruvallur District measuring an extent of 0.08.5 acres within such time and pass such further order as this Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Government Advocate,  takes notice on behalf of the  respondents.  By consent of both parties,  the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents  to hand over vacant possession of the land referred to  above.  Petitioner by referring the G.O.Ms.No.28 Adi Dravidar Welfare Department dated 12.8.2010 seeks the above stated relief.  In G.O.Ms.No.28 dated 12.8.2010, the following order was passed:-\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\tVERNACULAR (TAMIL) PORTION DELETED<\/p>\n<p>\t4. Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents on instruction from the Special Revenue Inspector, who is present in Court, states that the process of handing over will take sometime due to administrative reasons and seeks sufficient time for implementing the G.O.Ms.No.28 dated 12.8.2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t 5. Considering the plea taken by the respondents, the third respondent is directed to take steps to implement the G.O.Ms.No.28 dated 12.8.2010 and  hand over the possession of the land to the petitioner within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.  The writ petition is ordered as above.
