Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :27\/01\/2011\n\n O R D E R\n                       ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n\n             ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n                  W.P.(C) No. 1675 of 2011 H\n             ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n          Dated this the 27th day of January, 2011\n\n                            J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>           Petitioners filed this writ petition mainly complaining<\/p>\n<p>of the poor condition of the 7 Km stretch of the road between<\/p>\n<p>Polytechnic College to 66th Mile near Kumily in Kollam &#8211; Theni<\/p>\n<p>National Highway No.220. According to the petitioners, they<\/p>\n<p>have submitted Exts.P2 to P9 representations before the<\/p>\n<p>respondents, seeking immediate repair of the aforesaid<\/p>\n<p>stretch of the road and complaining of inaction on the part of<\/p>\n<p>the respondents, this writ petition has been filed.<\/p>\n<p>       2.  Today, when the matter came up, Standing<\/p>\n<p>Counsel appearing for the first respondent submits that the<\/p>\n<p>road in question has not been entrusted to the National<\/p>\n<p>Highway and that therefore, the responsibility to maintain the<\/p>\n<p>road is that of the State Government.<\/p>\n<p>       3.  In the light of the aforesaid submission made, the<\/p>\n<p>first respondent or its officers cannot be directed to take any<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C) No.1675\/2011<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                               : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>action as sought for by the petitioners.
