KOSHY and T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, JJ.\n<\/p>\n<p>                   &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-\n<\/p>\n<p>                    W.P.(C) No.6853 of 2007 &#8211; N<\/p>\n<p>                   &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-\n<\/p>\n<p>             Dated this the 21st day of March, 2007<\/p>\n<p>                                Judgment<\/p>\n<p>Koshy, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>             This   is   a   petition   for   police   protection.\n<\/p>\n<p>Petitioners   wanted   police   protection   for   manufacture   and<\/p>\n<p>sale   of   clay   products   on   the   basis   of   the   sanction<\/p>\n<p>received   by   Exts.P4   and   P5   orders.       It   is   submitted   by<\/p>\n<p>the contesting respondents that about 50 acres of land is<\/p>\n<p>going   to   be   excavated   and   it   will   create   great<\/p>\n<p>environmental   problems   and   local   people   are   obstructing<\/p>\n<p>it.   According to the petitioners, only two acres and 17<\/p>\n<p>cents of property are involved.  Whatever may be that, it<\/p>\n<p>is submitted that Revenue Divisional Officer has issued a<\/p>\n<p>temporary stop memo and has also called for a meeting of<\/p>\n<p>all parties concerned. Since there is a prohibitory order<\/p>\n<p>by   a   statutory   authority,   we   are   unable   to   give   police<\/p>\n<p>protection   at   present.     We   direct   the   Revenue   Divisional<\/p>\n<p>Officer   to   complete   the   proceedings   as   expeditiously   as<\/p>\n<p>possible   and   petitioner   is   given   liberty   to   approach   the<\/p>\n<p>police or this court after passing the final order by the<\/p>\n<p>Revenue   Divisional   Officer.       Final   orders   shall   be<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(C).No.6853\/2007                  2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>passed by the R.D.O. as expeditiously as possible, in any<\/p>\n<p>event,   within   three   weeks   from   the   date   of   receipt   of   a<\/p>\n<p>copy of this judgment.
