THE TREASURY OFFICER, JAMUI\n                                    -----------\n<\/pre>\n<p>3   28.03.2011             Petitioner           has      filed       this      writ<\/p>\n<p>                 application        for        a      direction           to     the<\/p>\n<p>                 respondents        to        consider       his      case       for<\/p>\n<p>                 promotion    to    the       post    of     Head    Clerk     with<\/p>\n<p>                 effect   from     01.01.1996         and    on     the   post   of<\/p>\n<p>                 Office     Superintendent            with        effect       from<\/p>\n<p>                 01.03.1999.\n<\/p>\n<p>                           Learned       counsel       for    the     petitioner<\/p>\n<p>                 submits that the petitioner has already filed<\/p>\n<p>                 a     representation              before      the        District<\/p>\n<p>                 Magistrate, a copy whereof is Annexure-7 to<\/p>\n<p>                 the writ application, which appears to have<\/p>\n<p>                 been filed on 11.11.2009. He submits that the<\/p>\n<p>                 representation was filed jointly with other<\/p>\n<p>                 employees     as        no    one     had        been     granted<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                             2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>          promotion with effect from 01.01.1996.<\/p>\n<p>                     Considering    the   fact   that    the   then<\/p>\n<p>          District Magistrate did not consider the case<\/p>\n<p>          of the petitioner and other employees of the<\/p>\n<p>          office for their due promotion, this Court<\/p>\n<p>          disposes     of   the    writ   application      with     a<\/p>\n<p>          direction to the District Magistrate, Jamui<\/p>\n<p>          to consider the case of the petitioner and<\/p>\n<p>          others, who may be eligible for grant of due<\/p>\n<p>          promotion to them,        in accordance with law.<\/p>\n<p>          Such   consideration        must       be     made      and<\/p>\n<p>          appropriate final orders in accordance with<\/p>\n<p>          law must be passed within three months from<\/p>\n<p>          the date of receipt\/production of a copy of<\/p>\n<p>          this order.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<pre>Arvind\/                         ( J.
